Woody Plant Disease Management Guide for Nurseries & Landscapes (PPFS-OR-W-29)

Woody ornamentals can succumb to various adverse factors, including infectious (biotic) diseases and non-infectious (abiotic) problems, as well as a combination of both.  Accurate diagnosis is essential to determine the best way to manage these problems and prevent future occurrences.

Woody Plant Disease Management Guide for Nurseries & Landscapes is an extensive revision and expansion of the previous version (formerly ID-88).  Background information on disease identification and general management strategies are discussed in the opening text.  The tables that follow include descriptions of typical symptoms and specific management approaches for many problems commonly occurring on woody ornamentals grown in Kentucky residential plantings, commercial landscapes, and nurseries.

Woody Plant Disease Management Guide for Nurseries & Landscapes (PPFS-OR-W-29) is available online.
