Target Spot & Frogeye Leaf Spot of Field-grown Tobacco (PPFS-AG-T-07)

Target spot and frogeye leaf spot are the major fungal leaf spot diseases of tobacco grown in Kentucky.  These diseases may initially occur in greenhouse transplants, quickly becoming more severe when symptomatic plants are placed in the field.  Field infections may also occur, incurring yield losses and reducing quality.

This new tobacco fact sheet discusses importance, symptoms, causes, disease development, and management of these two diseases.

Target Spot & Frogeye Leaf Spot of Field-grown Tobacco (PPFS-AG-T-07) is available online.
