A Grower’s Guide to Kentucky Hemp Production workshops will be provided in seven locations throughout the Commonwealth (Figure 1). These full day, educational programs include information on various aspects of hemp production in Kentucky. Topics such as regulatory and field testing, production systems, budgets and risk management, cultivar information, pest risks and management, and many more will be provided. Speakers include representatives from Kentucky Department of Agriculture and University of Kentucky Specialists from the Departments of Ag Economics, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Ag Engineering, Horticulture, and Plant and Soil Sciences. All programs are open to growers of any experience level, or those interested in beginning to grow hemp. A registration fee is required.
