The 2019 IPM Training School is scheduled for March 6 at the Christian County Extension Office, Hopkinsville. Seven UK specialists will be talking about weed control, pasture, cover crop, soil nitrogen cycle, corn and soybean diseases, scouting techniques, and soybean pests as detailed in the program.
The number of approved continuing education units for pesticide applicators are: 3 general hours and 2 specific hours in categories 1A, 10 and 12. Certified crop advisers will receive 1 in nutrient management, 3 in integrated pest management, and 2 in crop management.
