Apple Rust Diseases (PPFS-FR-T-05)

Cedar-apple, cedar-quince, and cedar-hawthorn rusts commonly occur on apple, pear, and related ornamentals in Kentucky.  Apple rust diseases can result in economic losses in orchards and can seriously impact landscape plantings.  This new publication, which is a revision of the former Rust Diseases of Apple (PPA-23), includes descriptions and color images of disease symptoms and signs on apple and Juniperus hosts.  Disease development and management are also discussed.
