Colorado potato beetles (Figure 1) are a challenge.
Their ability to breakdown chemicals results in rapid development of resistance to insecticides. It can take some trial and error to find products that will control this insect. Finding an effective tool does not solve the problem. Resistance management requires rotating among several mode of action groups. This is discussed in Colorado Potato Beetle Management (ENTFACT-312).
